In June 2009, Kensi was then assigned to what would become her permanent assignment: the Office of Special Projects in Los Angeles and where she remains to this day. Upon receiving training from FLETC, Kensi's first posting was the Washington DC Office which occurred from December 2006 to September 2007.Īfter that, she was reassigned to the Tokyo 7th Fleet from October 2007 to March 2008.Īt some point, she arrested criminal David Kessler.įollowing on from that, she was stationed at the Norfolk Naval Base in Virginia from March 2008 to June 2009. She then subsequently chose to join NCIS or the Naval Criminal Investigation Service which she did so in August 2003.
During her time in college, she also played softball in college. Kensi attended Cornell University, ultimately graduating from there with a BA in Politics and International Studies.
